Item Description
8-7/8x11-1/8" trimmed sheet of vellum w/mixed media original art on both sides depicts Alvin from "Alvin And The Chipmunks" and was produced for 1965 Collegeville Halloween mask. Sheet has two strips of tape staining by eyes, indicating another sheet was at one time attached (likely featuring different art). Sheet has some pencil measurements at lower left and shows some scattered handling wear w/some tiny paint flakes to black of eyes. Fine/VF. Comes w/7-7/8x9-5/8" high relief heavy cast metal injection mold for Alvin mask, w/faint "Alvin" name written in green marker along w/"2-65" date. Stamped "USA" on chin. Some scattered dust soiling/aging, but VF overall. Unique pair. From the Collegeville Archives (see other Collegeville items throughout the auction).
