Item Description
Cool Cat is a cartoon character created by Alex Lovy for Warner Bros.-Seven Arts Animation. He was the final star of the original Warner Bros. "Looney Tunes" theatrical cartoons, making his first appearance in "Cool Cat" in 1967. Lot includes pair of 7x9.25" high relief thin Vacuform plastic Halloween masks. First has been completely hand-painted and is marked "Original" in black marker on inside, Collegeville's way of identifying it as a unique prototype. Some scattered paint wear and .75" crack to left cheek. Fine overall. Second mask is final produced version. Edges have a few small cracks, w/.25" and .5" cracks on right cheek. Fine/VF. Prototype is a unique piece for a rare costume from an obscure cartoon property. From the Collegeville Archives (see other Collegeville items throughout the auction).
