Item Description
1951 Post Toasties premium with silver luster ring base rather than the Power House candy bar version with brass ring base. Ring bands have "Flying" on one side plus atomic symbol and stars while opposite side reads "Saucer" with space ship and stars. Top holds launching spinner with a replaced generic string. Comes with pair of "Flying Saucer" disks each about 2" in diameter. One of these is aluminum for daytime use while the other is aluminum but with underside luminous coating to expose to light before launching as a  "Night-Flying Saucer" according to the printed (but not present) instructions. Lower thin bands of the ring base have each lost a narrow .25" streak of silver luster but vast majority remains and  all else is Exc. This silver base version is about five times scarcer than the brass base version.
