Item Description
7" tall composition figure w/articulation at shoulders and hips. Head is removable, revealing cavity within Brownie's body for holding candy. c. late 1800s. Strings a bit loose, but appear to be original. Finely detailed eyes, eyebrows, mouth, hair, coat and vest buttons, tie. Slightest wear to hat brim and lt. dust soiling. VF overall. Charming and rare novelty item depicting one of Palmer Cox's delightful Brownies.
