Item Description
Pair of posters featuring art by Earl Newman, whose art graced several Monterey Jazz Festival posters as well as theater posters and nature prints. 22.5x35" poster for the "9th Annual Far Western Parachute Meet" held Sept. 4-6, 1965 by the California Parachute Club in Livermore, CA. Poster features stylized image of skydiver in freefall. Some lt. corner tip wear and scattered handling wear but still VF overall. 23x35" poster for the "Isle Of Wight '70" motorcycle race held on the Isle of Wight in 1970. Poster features British Union Jack flag motif w/image of road racing motorcyclist leaning into curve superimposed over it. Poster has moderate scattered handling wear w/1.25" tear at upper left margin and .75" tear at upper right margin. Fine overall.
