Item Description
Pair of tin litho wind-ups. Marx, ©1939 WDE. 8.5" tall Walking Pinocchio w/built-in key is black shoe variety. Version w/separate eyes that move up and down. Toy works, rocking back and forth as it waddles about. Toy has a few scattered small paint nicks/scratches but all remains totally bright and glossy, colors remain strong. VF. "Pinocchio The Acrobat" toy measures 2x17x17" tall including 7" tall Pinocchio tin figure w/jointed fiberboard legs. Tin litho w/built-in key. Base is nicely illustrated w/images of Monstro the Whale, Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Figaro, Geppetto and Stromboli. Toy works and base rocks back and forth as Pinocchio sways. Toy has had solder repair to slotted tab on underside where spring steel piece is attached, not offensive. Toy has moderate scattered paint nicks/scratches w/traces of bare metal showing along edges and at corners. VG/Fine.
