Large and impressive 14x17.5" artboard has black felt tip pen specialty original art depicting The Phantom from the knees up, waving as he stands in front of his horse Hero. Phantom's wolf companion Devil sits on Hero's back. Art has been personally inscribed "Hi, Geoffrey! Best Wishes For Your Future Success & Happiness - From - The Phantom, Devil, Hero & Sy Barry - 6/19/71." Barry is best known for his work on "The Phantom" comic strip, which he inked for more than three decades. Back of artboard has some tape staining and aged piece of tape as once displayed, but art remains bright, clean and Exc.
