Item Description
From same series as store sign, see previous item. 11-3/8x17-5/8" flat features images of three premium photos on front w/text promoting "Real Photo Of A Star In Every Package. These small photos (listed as ACC #F273-19) were packaged in boxes of Kellogg's "Pep" cereal 1947-1948. Total of 42 in set (24 in first series, 18 in second series) and includes a number of athletes such as George Mikan, Sam Snead and MLB players. Photos shown include MLB player Mike Tresh (Chicago White Sox), NFL player George McAfee (Chicago Bears) and actress Joan Bennett. Back panel advertises various "Lucky-Charms" that were available as mail away premiums. Flat is folded along center scored line, and is o/w an unused file copy. Stamped 1949 date at top center. Corner creases at upper left and scattered dust soiling along fold line but still VF/Exc. overall. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
