Item Description
The Golds developed/produced a number of different iron-on transfer promotions over the years. This lot features two different 1950s premium proposals. Folded 11.5x15.5" vellum sheet features eight different colored pencil full body transfer designs, including baseball, football, basketball players, racecar driver, cowboy, Native American, etc. Hand-lettered text at top notes proposed "Sears Back-To-School Hot Iron Transfers" promotion. Sheet margins have been folded under and sheet has even moderate aging. Folded into quarters w/heavy fold lines. Fine overall. 7.75x10.5" thin artboard features two panels of pen and ink original art, showing "Jet Pilot Squadron Leader" and "Detective - Secret Operator 22" badge designs. Hand-lettered instruction text below images w/1951 Premium Specialties copyright. Some pencil notations along margins, but art remains clean and Exc. Unique pair.
