11x17" double-sided poster promotes first four (of six) of American novelist, essayist, and countercultural figure Ken Kesey's (193-2001) "Spit In The Ocean" book series, published 1974-1981. Poster dates to the 1970s and shows the books held like a hand of playing cards w/"A Deal" text below. Back features pages samples from the books as well as area for stamp as poster was intended to be folded and mailed. Poster remains unfolded and shows just lt. handling wear. Front has been boldly signed by Kesey in red/blue paint pens, Kesey adding geometric design to his large signature. Exc. Scarce promotional poster. Comes with Hake's COA. Rick Synchef Collection.
