Item Description
Single-sided 8.5x10-5/8" flyer features all text design promoting "Midnight Saturdays Thru July 1965" concerts featuring The Fugs! (who formed in 1964 in New York) that took place at The Bridge Theatre. Top two corners only are adhered to 9.5x11.5" board. Flyer notes the band as Folkways Recording Stars" and "The Lower East Sides Most Unbelievable Hallucination!" A number of "Legendary Fug Classics" are mentioned, including - "Nothing, CIA Man, Coca Cola Douche, New Amphetamine Shriek" and others as well as "New Fug-Songs" including "Slum Goddess, Wet Dream Over You, The Tutankhamon [sic] Rock" and others. Flyer has even lt. aging w/many pin holes along left margin. Fine overall. Scarce flyer from early in this New York City band's career.
