Item Description
Both buttons are 1.25", the first with Bastian paper introduced in 1907 and the second with W&H paper used 1900-1912. On the first, in gorgeous color, Santa rides in gondola suspended from airship, with his hand on the steering tiller and lower body covered by a white lap blanket to ward off the wind. Back paper inked with three digit number in margin, otherwise Mint. Second is unusual depiction of Santa in red hood, all surrounded by holly leaves and red berries. Many light all over scratches show some in reflected light but still displays NM with normal viewing. Third is .75" tall celluloid oval Santa portrait with holly accent on his head. Reverse has two brass prongs as piece once held a celluloid cover to several sheets of ink blotter cardboard. Mint.
