Item Description
3-1/8x7-7/8" blotter pad has two blotters w/attached celluloid cover w/"J.T. Flagg Knitting Co. Inc." imprint, 1948 calendar and images of comic characters Flagg produced products for - Captain Marvel (sweatshirt), Little Beaver and Red Ryder as well as Gene Autry. Limited distribution, likely given out to retailers. Celluloid is evenly aged but blotters are unused and Exc. Rare and just the second we've offered in our 52 years. Comes w/iron-transfer featuring same image of Captain Marvel throwing airplane as seen on blotter cover (see following items). Evenly aged w/some scattered handling wear and uneven edges as removed from larger sheet. Fine/VF.
