Item Description
Unlisted in DeWitt and Hake. .75x7/8" with domed front surface covered in glossy black enamel all surrounding silvered metal scene at center of log cabin, tree and cider barrel. The tree trunk has pale metallic pink color accent and the leaf points on the perimeter of the tree top have touches of pale blue metallic luster. Reverse is covered by the typically seen brass plate. The anchor hinge and clasp for the bar pin are original but the pin itself is a professionally-crafted replacement, barely distinguishable from the original. Beautifully crafted and much rarer than most of the typical sulfide brooches. Only example we recall seeing. The image and black enameling are essentially Mint as made. Rare.
