Item Description
11.5" tall tin litho w/movable wooden arms and legs comes w/illustrated cardboard header card which shows the many uses for the components that make up this toy. Elaborately designed set by Wolverine, c. 1950. Arms have a pair of wire hook hands that swing up to hold shovel to use as carrying handle. Robot's mid-section serves as sand pail and has lid which serves as a sieve. The removable head sprinkling can w/ears serving as handles can be used to pour water or sand. Side designs include girders w/rivets, back includes images of a hose vent and electrical outlet w/switch. Cup feet can be used as sand molds. Scattered tiny paint nicks/scratches w/some rim wear. Exc. overall. Header card is aged and shows moderate wear w/creases. VG. This toy is hard to find in nice condition due to its intended use.
