Item Description
Pair of painted plaster ashtrays, each w/figural British Bulldog seated at back. Both measure approx. 4.25" wide by 7" long by 5" tall. Made in England, 1940s. Both has same incised registration number and "Kay" name. Front edge of ashtray portion has incised "Who Said Hitler?" text. Both have been painted in different colors, one having more detail to teeth and rounded ears as opposed to other shown w/docked ears. Fawn/white Bulldog has hairline running around surface where ashtray meets base. Scattered paint nicks/chips w/a few small surface flakes. VG overall. Scarce pair.
