Item Description
All items were issued for 27th Triennial Conclave. Sizes range from 7/8" for jeweled porcelain pin by O'Hara Dial Co. to 3.25" for larger badges and 8" for ribbon showing oil well in Bradford, PA. The first item is a two-sided celluloid fob with black ribbon which has three short vertical cuts in the fabric, perhaps to allow wearing suspended from a clothing button. Reverse has Templar red cross accented by swords with text related to "Souvenir" of the Grand Encampment. Great color. Next badge is marked "Official Souvenir" on back with a serial number 2894. Super ornate and great workmanship. Remaining badges in order name Commandery's from: Melrose, Mass, St. Johnsbury, VT (one in silver luster, one in brass with brass one having two links replaced by thin wire), Augusta, ME, Richmond, VA, one with KT symbols but no city name, two from Boston, same design but one more silver and other more brass tone, and last the gorgeous porcelain from Newtonville, MA. Light age tone on the ribbon, the badges are mostly Exc. to Mint.
