Item Description
Original cardboard box w/nicely illustrated lid contains the first Superman timepiece produced, made in 1940 by New Haven Clock Co. and distributed by The Everbrite Watch Co. Inc. Box has some lt. corner tip wear but is o/w very clean and tight. Illustrated die-cut insert has some creasing and small tears where watch was displayed. Still VF overall. 1.25" chromed metal case. Dial features illustration of Superman from knees up w/"Superman" comic book title/logo below. Original leather bands show some wear from use. Crystal has yellowed w/age and has lt. wear. Dial remains clean. Case has some lt. luster wear. Running. Fine overall.
