Item Description
Lot of three cards, ranging from 2-3/8x3.75" to 2-7/8x4.5". 1940s. Two cards are two-sided membership cards that were used to decipher stories in issues of "Superman-Tim" magazine as both have member/secret codes on backs. Lines provided for member's name/address remain unused. Scattered lt. wear/aging but VF to Exc. overall. Larger card is folder style "Superman-Tim Press Card" that opens to 8.75" in length. Lines provided for member's name/address have been filled out in pencil. Card opens to reveal two panels of 12 numbered squares where poster stamps were to be mounted. These stamps feature different Superman illustrations plus secret codes which were to be decoded using code charts on the back of card. Total of six stamps have been applied. Back has block for "Reporter's Photograph" which is unused. Card has lt. aging and wear. VF.
