Item Description
Tim's was a club program used as a promotional tool by stores to promote their boys clothing departments and draw in customers. Tim's also published magazines and other advertising that targeted boys. The Superman-Tim joint venture ran from 1942 to 1950. This lot predates that run. Lot of four silk-screened felt patches; single 3.25x3.25" triangular patch and three 2" dia. circular patches. Larger patch features "Franco Club" design that was used several times and issued w/different dates. This example is from 1938. The three smaller patches form a set that were also issued in 1938 in three different colors. All four are rare. Patches have lt. even aging and trace wear. VF/Exc. All are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
