Item Description
Vintage 8x10" publicity photo shows Hollywood legend Katharine Hepburn (1907-2003) as she appeared as the heroine Rosalind in William Shakespeare's "As You Like It." Hepburn starred in the longest running Broadway production of Shakespeare's comedy, which ran for 145 performances in 1950. Back of photo has stamped theater credits as well as "Vandamm Studio" photography studio mark. Hepburn has signed in blue ink, inscribing photo "To Edna Edison" before boldly signing her name. Pinpoint indentations at corners (not pin holes) and scattered corner tip/margin wear, and back has moderate aging, but this does not affect front, which still displays VF/Exc. Great vintage piece signed by one of Hollywood's greatest actresses. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
