Item Description
1-1/8" dia. litho featuring c. 1934-1935 image of Flash Gordon wearing a winged helmet as he appeared when introduced in his Jan. 1934 Sunday comic strip. This "Flash Gordon Club" was sponsored by the "Chicago Herald And Examiner" newspaper and button was made by Geraghty & Co. of Chicago as noted in tiny text on curl. Tiniest traces of wear, most only noticeable upon close inspection. Trace loss to silver flashing on back. Still totally bright, glossy and VF. Rarely found in this choice condition.
