Item Description
Pair of boxes each contain rubber molds, modeling powder, paints and instructions for making figurines of characters and equipment from "Tom Corbett Space Cadet." Model-Craft, Inc., 1950s. 11.25x16.25x2" deep box contains set No. 53, which includes kit for making figures of Space Cadets Tom Corbett, Roger and Astro as well as equipment. Box has some lt. corner tip/edge wear and a few minor spots of lt. staining to main lid panel, which also has faint .25" surface puncture. Box is complete w/die-cut insert and VF overall. Set consists of illustrated instruction sheet, the aforementioned rubber molds (all of which remain pliable), cardboard canister of modeling powder, small cellophane pack of talcum powder, three paint tabs, color wheel/guide, cotton pad, paintbrush, popsicle stick. Contents remain unused and NM/Mint in box. 12.25x19.75x2.5" deep box contains set No. 25, which includes kit for making figures of Space Cadets Tom, Roger, Astro, Captain Strong, Dr. Dale as well as Vesuvian. While some characters are repeated from previous set, molds differ. Box lid shows moderate color rubs along edges and scattered corner tip wear. Lid has one corner split. Box is complete w/die-cut insert and Fine overall. Set contents are similar to previous set and aside from differing molds, set also features different cardboard canister of modeling powder and cardboard palette w/five paint tabs. Molds have hardened slightly w/age but o/w contents remain unused and Exc to NM. Old store stock pair.
