Item Description
Ring is dark yellow plastic w/green "Space Patrol" insert in reverse lettering for use as stamp. These rings were also produced in dark red color. Comes w/seldom seen 5/8" dia. circular yellow plastic container which pops open and contains a black ink pad. Ring top was applied to the ink pad and then the words "Space Patrol" could be stamped on papers w/name appearing correctly. Ink pad is dried out and the black ink very slightly discolored the side edge of the yellow compartment but the ring itself is Mint w/no traces of black ink stains. Early 1950s. Vary rare ring and even rarer complete w/ink pad and in this high grade.
