Item Description
See previous item. 4-5/8x8" pad of 49 "Tomkins Telepad" sheets, each featuring original art mixed media storyboard art for "The World Of Commander McBragg" episode 35, "The Eclipse." Total Television Productions, 1965. Each page is numbered w/typed identification numbers and penciled in scene numbers on some. These pads map out the whole cartoon in art and dialogue and were often pulled apart and rearranged as the show came together. Sheets contain the complete episode. Storyline is that McBragg goes into jungle to film eclipse before being attacked and captured by band of Pygmies, who sentence him to a firing squad of poisonous darts. He tricks the chief w/a match and escapes. Moderate aging/wear to outer sheets and oxidation to staples however, many inner sheets are near perfect as produced so condition varies from VG to Exc. Any original studio used art from this series is rare.
