Item Description
"Go Go Gophers" was an animated TV series produced by Total Television (TTV) and set in the Old West. Originally appearing on the "Underdog" series from 1966 to 1968, it was spun off as a separate series on CBS 1968-1969. Offered here is 10.25x12.5" sheet of animation paper featuring pencil concept original art of US Army personnel Colonel Kit Coyote (Kenny Delmar impersonating Theodore Roosevelt) and Sergeant Okey Homa (Sandy Becker impersonating John Wayne). Art depicts the two main characters slightly differently than how they appeared on the cartoon. Sheet has some scattered minor aging and handling wear w/.25" tear along top right margin. VF overall. All art from this cartoon is rare, and this is an exceptional example.
