Item Description
"The Space Giants" was an American adaptation of the Japanese tokusatsu live action TV series "Ambassador Magma" that aired in the US during the 1970s. Ambassador Magma was renamed Goldar for American audiences. Offered here is 7-5/8x9.75" sheet of paper w/pencil original art of Goldar mask that has been cut out. Art was used to produce Collegeville's 1980 Halloween mask. .25x.5" hole at top center and folded as drawn. VF. Art comes w/two glossy photos showing Goldar w/"The Space Giants" logo and two children, used by Collegeville as reference material. Typed labels on backs. Exc. Lot also includes 8.5x11x3" deep window box containing production Goldar costume. Box has "Goldar" side panel label w/Lakeside Television Co., Inc. copyright. Window is complete and intact w/just some slight loosening along top. Box lid has heavy crease at center right edge and some corner creases, Fine/VF. Mask is Exc. Size large (12-14) costume features image of giant Goldar holding man in his hand w/word balloon reading "I Am Goldar - A Friend To Earth People." Creased as folded, but o/w Exc.
