Item Description
8.5x11" retailer's promotional folder for Collegeville, who introduced three General Mills cereal mascot costumes - Frosty O the Bear, Trix the Rabbit and Twinkles the Elephant - all of which are shown on back of folder. Other costumes of note shown include Casper the Friendly Ghost, Popeye, Bugs Bunny, Hot Stuff, Alfred E. Neuman and The Phantom. Folder is lightly aged w/streak of staining on front. Fine/VF overall. Rare promotional item. 9x11.5" sheet of vellum features detailed pencil original art of Frosty O mask w/pencil notation at upper right. Upper left corner has 1x2" corner piece missing, but all art is complete. Sheet has scattered handling wear/dust soiling and is Fine overall. Unique. From the Collegeville Archives (see other Collegeville items throughout the auction). Boxed production example of "Twinkles The Elephant" Medium (8-10) costume is not from archives but comes along. Complete w/Vacuform mask and one-piece rayon costume. Scattered aging/wear. Box is VF. Mask is Exc. Costume is Fine/VF. Scarce.
