Item Description
Lot related to the production of Collegeville Casper the Friendly Ghost Halloween masks, 1960s. 8.5x10.5" sheet of vellum has lead pencil original art for Casper mask w/name and measurement written in pencil at top. Even lt. aging and some minor handling wear. VF. Comes w/three different size high relief thin Vacuform plastic Halloween mask prototypes, each having been completely hand-painted. Each is marked "Original" on inside, Collegeville's way of identifying it as a unique prototype. Scattered aging/wear w/some small edge cracks. Fine to VF. 7x8.25" high relief heavy cast metal injection mold for Casper mask, w/"Casper" name written in blue marker along w/"2-63" date. Some scattered dust soiling/aging w/luster loss to nose, but Fine/VF overall. Comes w/8.5x11" costume box lid flat featuring "Casper The Friendly Ghost Costumes" text at top and images of Casper and related characters. From Collegeville's files as no character name have been stamped on lid. Exc. Truly one of a kind lot for the Casper collector.
