Item Description
"Andy Pafko Scorekeeper Baseball Ring" is a 1949 Quaker "Muffets" cereal premium w/adjustable brass bands and catcher's mitt between two crossed bats on each side. Top features baseball design w/three small dials and cut-out windows for counting balls, strikes and outs. Center features full body image of Pafko (during his time w/the Chicago Cubs) batting w/facsimile signature above. Much brighter luster than typically found. Exc. Comes w/5.5x7.25" sheet that came w/ring, w/additional information about the ring as well as order form for additional rings. Sheet shows obvious handling wear w/all over creases and three archival tape repairs on back and small hole at top center. VG overall. Rare. Classic baseball premium ring. Both are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
