Item Description
This same style gun was produced in two sizes, this is the larger 9.5" long variety from 1934. See next item for smaller version. Gun is heavy blued steel w/nickel-plated rocket nozzle and backlash deflector. Left side of gun has incised "Buck Rogers - 25th Century" text and small full figure image of Buck Rogers on the grips. All over aging/wear, left side shows moderate loss of dark coloring of the gun. Trace oxidation to barrel and a few spots on body of gun. Still a working and Fine example, producing a loud pop when fired. Comes w/11x11.25" suede on canvas holster, complete w/original matching belt. Holster has stiff fabric patches w/metal rivets, rocketships and planet images as well as full figure image and "Buck Rogers 25th Century" text at bottom. Three die-cut blue star attachments and red strap across center. Holster and belt are stiff w/age as usually found w/moderate wear to suede surface, which has many surface cracks. Buckle and metal studs retain full bright luster. VG/Fine.
