Item Description
11x14" lobby card for the original release of the 1936 British Sci-Fi film, based on H.G. Wells' 1933 story "The Shape Of Things To Come," which was meant to display the social and political forces and possibilities of the future. Card shows key scene where two futuristic men look at display of stars in observatory. This scene is repeated in title image at lower right. Back has two collection inkstamps, but these do not affect front's display. Card shows obvious margin wear w/pin holes and aged tape at corners, w/a few scattered margin pin holes. Lower left/right margins have remnants of tape staining. Right margin has some creases and .25" to .75" tears. VG overall. Scarce.
