Item Description
3x9-1/8" die-cut stiff paper promotional hanger issued by movie theater during original release of the 1936 gangster film "Bullets Or Ballots" starring Edward G. Robinson, Joan Blondell, Barton MacLane and Humphrey Bogart. Hanger is designed like a bullet w/"Warning - Lock Your Doors - Little Caesar Is Back In Town," a reference to Robinson's role in the 1931 crime film "Little Caesar." Hanger has imprint of Glasgow, MT Roxy Theatre. Tip of bullet has 7/8" crease and back has .75x2.25" streak of glue staining w/paper residue as once mounted, but this does not affect front's display, which remains Exc. Very rare and first we've offered in our 52 years. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
