Item Description
24-5/8x28.5" frame contains oil on canvas original art that has been professionally double-matted to 15.5x19.5". Art was painted by Edward Runci (1921-1986), a painter best known for his pin-up paintings of the 1950s and 1960s. A contemporary of Gil Elvgren, both popular artists painted in the Sundblom style and saw their work grace countless calendars as well as being used by Coca-Cola. Runci's original pin-up paintings easily command five figures w/collectors. Painted c. 1986 (Runci continued to paint right up to the end of his life), this art depicts the portrait of a beautiful Native American woman, hearkening back to Runci's pin-up style. Runci has boldly signed at lower right. Exc. and ready for display.
