Item Description
Large and impressive 16x20.25" single-sided letter is addressed "Dear Mr. Grocer" and addresses Kellogg's "Pep" pin promotion, noting that Kellogg's has taken out ads (w/example shown) in Canadian newspapers "Star Weekly, Montreal Standard" and "Montreal La Patrie" and mentions ads in weekly comic pages. Letter also notes and shows rare store standee (see previous item) as well as 18 different "Pep" pins, including - Superman, Dick Tracy, Little Orphan Annie, Sandy and others. Bottom shows boxes of "Pep" cereal, boxes being variety w/three "Pep" pins shown on fronts, including Superman. Letter has been folded as mailed and is o/w Exc. Very rare and first we've offered in our 52 years. A must have for the Pep pin collector. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
