Item Description
Items range in size from 4x7 to 5x10". All are promotional items and/or retailer exclusives issued by The Frank H. Fleer Corp. in the 1940s-50s (specific dates given if indicated). Uncle Sam ink blotter. Reverse used w/small bit of ink bleed through on the front. Dust soiling. Fine. 1943 calendar w/art by Joe Bowers titled "Watch The Birdie." Additional text reads "Greeting From Fleer" and pad attached to bottom has Christmas greetings cover. Inside cover has additional Fleer text. Moderate aging, wear and some staining. VG. "America Chooses To Chew" booklet from 1950. 12 pages w/detailed history of gum and how it is made. Exc. "Doodle Diary" booklet has 56 bw pages w/calendar and images at top (mostly different faces) w/details to be filled in, or "Doodled" by owner. Lt. wear, VF. Wood paddle w/attached rubber ball. Exc. An interesting gum related lot. Several items are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
