Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 7.5" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key. Marx, 1932. Box is missing all top flaps and has even moderate aging. Scattered moisture staining (more noticeable towards top and on bottom) and a few small punctures/indents. VG overall but still nice for display. Toy depicts Popeye holding parrot cages in his hands w/large parrot inside. Complete w/small separate die-cut tin pipe. Toy works and moves forward when wound, Popeye's legs move separately as if he is walking. Toy is aged w/fade to Popeye's red collar. Scattered small paint nicks/scratches but Fine overall. Classic 1930s Popeye toy, complete w/scarce box.
