Item Description
New Haven Watch Co. © KFS, Inc. 1-7/8" dia. nickel plated pocket watch has detailed dial picturing many characters around sides including Ham Gravy, Wimpy, Professor Wottasnozzle and more. Images alternate w/designs of triangles which contain the numerals. Another version of this watch featured a less detailed dial w/totally different character images around edges. Popeye's die-cut arms w/bold anchor tattoo designs and hands w/pointing fingers tell the time while below his spread legs is a second wheel showing full figure of Wimpy chasing a winged, flying hamburger. Nickel plating shows much wear to case. Crystal (which is typically found w/aging) remain clear. Dial shows lt. wear but images remains strong. Running. Case is VG while dial is VF. Wonderful design w/choice graphics. Rare.
