Item Description
Vintage 8.5x11" photocopy. Flyer's art is entitled "Art Through Limitation" and further reads "Raymond Pettibon, Lecture On The Horrors Of Life, Horrors Of Death - Black Flag Flyer #19 - Exert Authority To Foster Disorder." Black Flag symbol at center. Flyer advertises Nov. 1, 1979 concert that took place at the Hong Kong Cafe in Los Angeles, CA that was headlined by Black Flag. Additional bands included Mau Mau's, Red Cross (before they changed to Redd Kross), Urinals and Spittin' Teeth. Small text at top left notes Black Flag's "Nervous Breakdown" EP. Original examples of this flyer are known as both offset and photocopies. Pencil notation on reverse in top right corner, o/w extremely clean and NM. Obtained at time of show by consignor.
