Item Description
1.25" with two union bugs on the curl. One of these is circular with about 60% showing above the collet. The letters "IWW" and three stars are clearly seen along with the words "Workers Of" and the last few letters of the word "International". On the front, there are tiny but elaborate design elements between the words and between some of the letters spelling out "Gay Liberation Now". Designs include flowers, hearts, overlapping male gender symbols that also form a peace symbol, and one image of a reclining nude male figure. A pair of wings extend above his shoulders, his hand on his knee also holds a flower and his genitals are clearly seen but obvious to the naked eye only with magnification. The one other example we've seen came from the Levin Collection and with a "Gay Power" slogan button the pair exceeded $300 in Auction #224. Mint. Rare.
