Item Description
2-3/8x3.25x.75" deep box has lid art of HOF pitcher in center of baseball w/his signature in front and contains 2" dia. metal case pocket watch. Everbrite Watch Co. 1935. Box comes w/die-cut cardboard insert. Lid is missing right side panel and has tape repairs to two corner splits. Insert has moderate creasing and .25" tear at left. Box is just Good but rare. Comes w/guarantee slip and guarantee/instruction folder, which shows wear w/tears, largest being 1". VG while other is VF. Watch is more desirable version w/name and hands in red w/revolving baseball second dial (other version has black text and a standard, non-baseball second hand). Case has lt. wear but retains near full luster. Dial shows slight even aging (second dial has darker aging) but color remains strong. Running and VF overall. This pocket watch is even more rare than the Dizzy Dean wrist watch.
