Large, nice quality 23.75x27.75" double-mat w/acetate cover contains 16-1/8x20.25" artboard w/impressive mixed media portrait of HOF legend Casey Stengel (1890-1975), whose MLB career spanned 1912-1965 as a player, manager and coach. Art was created by Doug West, a renowned sports artist who has done extensive work for MLB, NFL, NHL and more. West has shown Stengel as a New York Yankees manager (a position he held 1949-1960) and as a Boston Braves player (1938-1943). West has signed art at lower right. NM and ready for framing.
