H - $200 to $400 Help Icon
Item Description
1.25" with "Balto. Badge and Novelty" on the curl of this early and intensely colored Santa c. 1904. His red hat and jacket are trimmed in fur and he is surrounded by holly, many toys and a starry night sky. Our one example with same art was in Auction 223, realizing over $350 but that was from a Reading, Pa store and the maker was named as Lucke Badge (also of Baltimore) but with fixed bar pin instead of the standard spring pin as is this version. High gloss. NM displaying Mint. Rare.
