Item Description
Stage measures 9.5x19.5" and die-cut marquee sign and accent tree leaf section is detached. The bkg. section is very nicely illustrated, depicting jungle scene w/tropical bird, monkey and hut which has die-cut door that opens. Reverse has assembly instructions, list of the statue set and notes they were available w/three panels/cellophane packages of Fould's Macaroni, Spaghetti or Egg Noodles. For use w/Gem Clay Forming Co. premium statue sets offered as premium by Fould's, Heinz and others (see following item). c. 1932. Stage shows some obvious wear w/scattered handling creases, pin holes at top center, and some small missing pieces at die-cut portions of top w/.5" to 1" tears at top, which have tape staining on back for old repairs. Top back corners also have aged cellophane tape/fabric tape reinforcement and 2x2.5" moisture stain. Marquee has tape repairs along left/right folds and has aged tape repair to front edge. Good/VG overall. 3.5x9" double-sided order form has nice full color image of the stage on the front and an unused order blank on reverse. Splits at top/bottom of fold lines and scattered aging/dust soiling. VG. One of the rarest and most sought after of all Tarzan premiums, we have only offered a few of these stages in our 52 years.
