Item Description
Each is 1.75" the first with 1898 W&H back paper and the second as issued without back paper or maker name. The 1898 button is typically seen with text for a carnival reading "A Hot Time In The Old Town" but lack of text on this example indicates it is a salesman's sample. NM displaying Mint. The second button on reverse has 1/8" and .5" hairline splits along the collet with the smaller split making a barely detectable edge bump. The button still displays essentially Mint. Our fourth seen of this which realized well over $300 in Auction #222. Two outstanding graphic buttons.
