Item Description
Lot pertaining to cover art for 1962 Saalfield coloring book featuring Harvey Comics characters Casper the Friendly Ghost, Baby Huey, Little Audrey, Herman and Katnip as well as Buzzy the Crow. 10.13.5" sheet w/black paper overlay has attached sheet of onionskin paper, which features full color original art for the coloring book's cover. Top/bottom margins of onionskin sheet have glue staining as attached to larger sheet, which has some corner creases and aged strips of tape at top. VG/Fine overall. Art comes w/additional onionskin sheet featuring color guide for title area only, w/outlines of Herman and Katnip visible. Pencil notation above art. This sheet has even aging and shows obvious wear w/large tears along right margin and corner tip wear. Good/VG. Art also comes w/printed stat for cover.
