Item Description
Pair of 5.25x9.5x2.5" deep window boxes contain Marcie Doll No. 867 Tom Corbett and No. 877 Dr. Dale. 1950s. Boxes show moderate wear w/color rubs and corner tip wear. Tom Corbett's box has original insert and cellophane window remains completely affixed. Box is tight. Fine. Doll stands 7.5" tall and comes w/detailed costume including Space Cadet emblem patch on chest and "Tom Corbett Official Space Cadet" emblem on pressed fabric helmet, which is usually missing. Dr. Dale's box has 1.5" puncture to cellophane window and .5x1" surface paper lift in upper left-hand corner. Box remains tight and is VG/Fine. Space Cadet emblem patch on chest. Both dolls' sleep eyes function and both are clean and VF overall w/some lt. aging. Both are rare as boxed.
