Item Description
Carded pair of 1950s "Tom Corbett Space Cadet" novelties. 6-5/8x13-1/8" card (w/6.5" long punch-out rocketship) holds Yale leather belt w/metal buckle and separate leather buckle w/metal rocketship. "Space Cadet" name on belt buckle and belt. Instructions below belt note punch-out rocketship was to be used w/rubberband to make "Launching Platform." Replaced rubberbands. Belt is slightly aged and metal parts show some aging/trace oxidation. Card remains glossy and Exc. w/unpunched rocketship. Scarce as carded. 3.5x4.5" card holds figural 1.5x1-3/8" cast metal pin w/lustrous finish and some painted highlights. Design includes pair of rocketships, chest insignia and "Space Cadet" text. Card has creasing at upper right where pin is attached and has tape repair, Card is evenly aged and Fine overall. Pin shows trace wear and displays Exc. Rare as carded.
