Item Description
13x18-5/8" artboard has Todd McFarlane's pen and ink original art for page 21 of "Infinity Inc." #22, published by DC Jan. 1986. Art was inked by Tony DeZuniga. Art features 10 panels. Art features Hourman II (Rick Tyler) and Doctor Midnight (Elizabeth Chapel) going up against and being captured by Civil War soldiers. Hourman appears in three panels, Doctor Midnight appears in four panels. Hourman II made his first appearance just two issues prior to this one and Doctor Midnight made her first appearance three issues prior. Top margin has inked partial title and issue/page numbers. DC Copyright stamp on back. Margins have some production notations and second panel has some text correction strips. Artboard has some lt. scattered margin wear but art remains clean and Exc. McFarlane has signed left center in black ink. Nice example of McFarlane's art from early in his career and for a title he had a significant run on (providing the art for "Infinity Inc." #14-37).
