Item Description
8x10" glossy photo shows Frank Readick Jr. (the second narrator for "The Shadow" radio program) in mask and clutching his cape. Printed text reads "Compliments Of 'Blue Coal', America's Finest Anthracite - The Shadow." Photo is evenly aged and has some scattered handling wear but remains glossy and Fine/VF. Classic 1930s premium. Comes w/two matchbooks; larger 3-3/8x4.25" matchbook w/"Blue Coal" name is from the 1930s and complete. No Shadow references, but bears same slogan as premium photo inside flap. Scattered handling creases. Fine. 1.5x4.5" matchbook cover has been flattened w/matches neatly removed. 1940s. Cover features great images of The Shadow, skeleton w/bloody knife and skull. Complete w/die-cut Shadow piece intact on inside. Pair of staple holes where matches were once attached. Scattered lt. handling wear. VF overall.
